MENS ORGANIC SKINCARE

We are now well into the winter months with short days and cold winds and it is that time of year that means if we do not pay attention to our skin it will suffer. It is as important now as it was in the heat of summer!
There are 3 basic steps for a skin-care regime that you should try to fit  in even if you are time pressured.
 Step 1: Cleansing
Cleansing is the first step of any good skin care routine. Before we apply any other gel or cream on it, we need to remove any dust particles and pollutants. You should clean your face at least twice a day, once in the morning and once right before you go to sleep. Of course, if you’re going out or you just came back from the gym, an extra cleanse is necessary.
Try not to use regular soap for cleansing your skin. Keep the soap for your hands and the rest of your body. Either uses a cleansing gel or just warm water.
 Step 2: Exfoliation
Exfoliation serves pretty much the same purpose as cleansing. Exfoliation removes “dead skin cells” from your skin’s surface. If you exfoliate periodically you will see real improvements in your facial skin.
Exfoliation should always be done before shaving. Besides that, just do it once or twice a week if you have normal skin, and 3-4 times a week if you have oily skin. Use an exfoliating gel or cream.
 Step 3: Moisturise
Moisturise your skin during winter is probably the most important step. You can’t skip this one. Your skin is attacked by cold temperatures, dry and cold air. You need to keep it hydrated and for this you need a moisturising or hydrating cream. These will protect it from the dry wind and slow down the evaporation of water from your skin surface.
OK, now that you have the simple 1-2-3 formula for taking care of your skin during cold winters, all you have to do is get a cleansing gel, an exfoliating cream and a hydrating cream. Use them regularly and watch how your skin looks after a couple of weeks.
